Message from the founder of the Civil Engineering CenterSince the AHM531: The Civil Engineering Center was founded in early 2007, our team has been dedicated to expand the materials and services of this website to a broad audience starting with the family of students at the University of Jordan in Amman to the students and professionals of civil engineering all over the world. We envisioned it to be a source for any one interested in this field to provide a comprehensive description of the various jobs, courses and professional development materials. In addition to being a supply for lecture notes, home works solutions, previous exams and others based on the materials provides by the curriculum of the Civil Engineering department at the University of Jordan.
Sadly, after all of our team graduated in 2009/2010, we found it hard to maintain the materials of the website up to date. But we decided to keep hosting it at all cost to assist whoever found benefit of the existing material. I personally have chose another direction for my career, where I switched from Civil Engineering to Materials Science and Engineering in which I pursued my graduate studies. My PhD required much dedication and consumed all of my time on the expense of working and updating this website. On behalf of my team, I hereby announce that AHM531: The Civil Engineering Center is now archived. This means no more updates will be held on the materials of this website, but all the existing materials will remain available free of charge for whoever needs them around the globe. Please note some of these materials are out-dated or will be soon, especially those related to the curriculum and course syllabus at the University of Jordan and I advise you to refer to the official department website for the updated information.
